Writing simply is an important aspect of web content writing. If you can not explain it simply that means that you don't understand the subject matter completely. What could be explained in fewer words, don't stretch it too much? No one would like to read a giant paragraph without any meaning. For Example, if web content requires 100 words of explanation don't stretch it to 150 words.

Always write your content simply and never make it complex. Use neutral language, otherwise, your readers would not take more than 5 seconds to bounce off your website.

Use proper keywords that are related to your content and use abbreviations as much as possible. Using keywords related to your content would make it more SEO friendly and you would get more visitors. Keywords should describe your content and it shouldn't be unnecessarily stuffed.

Always use headings and subheadings to make your content simpler, then it would be easier for your readers to skim through your content. You can use the bold option for your important points in the paragraph and highlight them.

Use a pyramid structure of writing, always include the important points at the start of the web content. But, don't make your introduction dense as readers prefer to read shorter paragraphs more.

If you are putting links in your content then it should be clear and easy to look for. Unnecessary links would make your readers bounce off your website, Your links should have a proper font and an appropriate color. You should be using a proper case at different points in your content. if all your subheadings are the lower case then let it be so.

You should use proper Call to Action for your website, For Ex: a BUY button, or a pop-up for an email subscription. Your readers should not be confused, everything should be clear.
